  1. What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept VISA, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express & PayPal.

  2. How long does it take for my VPS to be setup?

    Our systems will begin the installation process as soon as your payment is processed. A VPS without a control panel typically takes around 5 minutes to be created. VPS's with a Control Panel typically take around 15 minutes. Payment processing may be delayed if your order is subject to additional fraud checks.

  3. Do you allow IRC, P2P, torrents, proxy servers, file-sharing or similar services?

    In order to ensure the reliability and legality of our network, we do not allow customers to use these services.

  4. Do you allow adult content?

    Not on our WizzVPS plans. Please contact our sales team for details of our Layershift branded VPS's which do support legal adult content.

  5. Do you own your own servers?

    Yes, all of our servers are owned and maintained by Layershift Limited, our parent company.

  6. Which Linux OS distributions do you offer?

    We currently offer CentOS 6, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) and Debian 6.0 (Squeeze). These particular distribution releases are selected for their long term OS vendor support so that you can be sure of software package updates for ongoing stability and security of your VPS.

  7. Are there any hidden costs?

    No, but don't forget we have to charge VAT if you are an EU resident citizen or company! You can claim this back if you are UK VAT registered, and you're exempt if you're VAT registered in another EU country or you are a non-EU entity.

  8. Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

    No, but our pricing is low and you have no commitment to renew so you can easily try our low cost services for just 1 month and decide how to proceed based on the quality of the service received.

  9. Can I upgrade to a higher plan at a later date?

    Yes, this can be performed instantly via our control panel without penalty. If you have unused credit available on your current subscription this will be automatically applied to your upgrade order.

  10. Is there any minimum contract term for your plans?

    No. As long as you submit a termination request via our control panel at least 7 days before your renewal date we will not charge you again. Termination requests received after this date will be processed from the following billing date.

  11. Can I order additional IP addresses?

    Yes, these are available at a small additional fee. IP addresses are subject to justification.

  12. Do you perform VPS backups?

    Yes all of our VPS plans include R1Soft CDP backups free of charge. There is a small one-time fee to cover our admin time to perform a restoration for you.
