All of our Linux distributions come with an option of installing a large collection of compilers, libraries, tools for linking and configuring packages, and 'devel' versions of many standard applications. This allows you to use our VPS's as a ready-to-go Linux development environment for creating RPM's, Debian Packages (dpkg), shell scripts, perl scripts, php scripts, modules, API's, CVS, SVN (subversion), and much more. You can install these when you first order your VPS, or later via our control panel.

LAMP is an acronym for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP - a very common platform for developers throughout the world, and four very interoperable applications with open-source development at their core. All of our WizzVPS plans can be deployed quickly with LAMP and development tools pre-installed, or installed free of charge by our 24x7 support team.
